Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a dedicated NP or PA to join our inpatient stroke service in Burlington, MA. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to admit, evaluate, and discharge patients with ischemic stroke, ICH, and cerebrovascular disorders.

A portion of time is allocated to outpatient training in neurology and related follow-ups. This 40-hour, full-time daytime role emphasizes collaboration with Neuroradiology, Neurosurgery, and Vascular Surgery, plus opportunities for

• Must be a PA or NP with Board Certification in Adult Gerontology Acute Care.
• Master’s degree from an accredited NP or PA program.
• Current MA license, DEA, and MCSR required.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to function semi-autonomously with high-acuity patients.

Responsibilities

• Admit, round on, and discharge patients with ischemic stroke, ICH, and cerebrovascular disorders.
• Lead initial evaluations and implement diagnostic/therapeutic plans.
• Coordinate discharge planning and documentation.
• Act as primary APP lead under physician guidance within the stroke team.
