Job summary

BAS Healthcare, Inc. in Burlington, MA seeks an Advanced Practitioner (NP or PA) to join a growing Cognitive and Movement Neurology program.

You will provide comprehensive outpatient assessments, coordinate care across neurology colleagues, and participate in ongoing clinical trials focusing on headache management and cognitive neurology therapeutics. The role offers hands-on procedural training (Botox, nerve blocks, lumbar punctures, DBS programming), a collaborative environment, and mentorship

Qualifications

• Valid state licensure as NP or PA.

Responsibilities

• Join the Cognitive and Movement Neurology service as NP or PA.
• Coordinate care with Neuroradiology, Neurosurgery, Neuropsychology, and Psychiatry.
• Participate in clinical trials focusing on headache management and cognitive neurology therapeutics.
• Manage outpatient follow-up care for cognitive and movement neurology patients.
• Receive hands-on procedural training (Botox, nerve blocks, lumbar punctures, DBS programming).

Job Details:

• Join the Cognitive and Movement Neurology service as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in a rapidly growing program
• Cognitive, Memory & Behavioral Program comprises 2 MDs, 2 APPs, and 2 PhDs specializing in advanced neurological and memory disorders
• Movement Program comprises 4 MDs and 2 APPs specializing in Parkinson's, Dystonia, Ataxia, and other movement disorders with an active DBS program
• Routine cross-specialty coordination with Neuroradiology, Neurosurgery, Neuropsychology, and Psychiatry to deliver comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and treatment plans
• Active involvement in ongoing clinical trials focusing on headache management and cognitive neurology therapeutics
• Manage outpatient follow-up care for established cognitive and movement neurology patients
• Progress to evaluating and diagnosing new patients within cognitive and movement subspecialties as clinical experience grows
• Receive hands‑on procedural training in outpatient interventions including Botox administration, peripheral nerve blocks, lumbar punctures, and DBS programming
• Practice semi‑autonomously under direct physician guidance within a collegial, collaborative, and respectful environment
• Valid state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) required
• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, strong clinical decision‑making capabilities, and a commitment to family‑centered care required
• Built-in formal orientation, ongoing mentorship, and opportunities to participate in teaching initiatives and quality improvement projects
