Job summary

BAS Healthcare, Inc. in Burlington, MA, seeks an Advanced Practitioner / Physician Assistant to join a cardiovascular medicine team in a full-time role.

You will manage admissions, perform histories and physicals, develop daily plans, coordinate emergency care, and act as a key liaison with nursing and consult services. Requirements include Board Certification in Adult Gerontology Acute Care, a Master's degree from an accredited NP/PA program, and current Massachusetts license plus DEA and MCSR.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage admissions including History & Physicals (H&Ps) and daily therapeutic plans.
• Order and interpret labs, ECGs, and diagnostic tests.
• Coordinate emergency care and serve as primary contact for nursing staff and consult services.
• Manage progress notes and daily orders.
• Shifts run 7:00 AM–7:00 PM with weekend rotations and occasional holidays/nights.

Advanced Practitioner / Advance Practice Provider / Physician Assistant

Job Details:

• Join an experienced cardiovascular medicine team on a full-time basis (40 hours per week)
• Manage admissions including History & Physicals (H&Ps), develop daily therapeutic plans, and coordinate emergency care
• Order and interpret labs, ECGs, and diagnostic tests
• Serve as the primary point of contact for nursing staff and consult services
• Manage progress notes and daily orders
• Shifts primarily run 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM with rotations every 3rd weekend and occasional holidays and nights
• Must be a PA or NP with Board Certification in Adult Gerontology Acute Care
• Experienced providers preferred; new graduates considered only with extensive Cardiology backgrounds
• Master's degree required from an accredited NP or PA program
• Current Massachusetts license, DEA, and MCSR required
• High emotional intelligence and a team-first mindset are essential
