Carilion Clinic seeks an APP (NP or PA) for Family Medicine in Blacksburg. The role is full-time, split between Plantation Road and Warm Hearth, with a 3/2 weekly pattern. 3 years of experience is required and you must hold NP licensure, DEA, and RN licensure, plus BLS.

Strong teamwork and EMR competency are essential for patient care. Education requires graduation from an accredited NP program, with prescriptive authority eligibility.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current state Licensed Nurse Practitioner (LNP), DEA and RN licensure required.
• Able to work collaboratively with physicians and communicate clearly; computer literacy for EMR.

Responsabilités

• Full time APP opportunity in Family Medicine across two sites.
• Work 3 days/week at Plantation Road and 2 days/week at Warm Hearth.
• Maintain licensure and comply with state regulations; coordinate care with team.

How You’ll Help Transform Healthcare

Full time APP ( NP or PA) opportunity with Carilion Family Medicine -Blacksburg. This APP would be shared between the Plantation Road office- working 3 days a week (Tues-Thurs) and 2 days a week at Warm Hearth (Mon and Friday).

3 years of experience is required.

What We Require

Education: Graduate of an Accredited Nurse Practitioner program.

Experience: 0

Licensure/Certification: Current state Licensed Nurse Practitioner (LNP), DEA license and Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required. AHA BLS-HCP certification required. Advanced Life Support certification preferred. Eligible for prescriptive authority in accordance with State regulations and as authorized by the Virginia Boards of Nursing and Medicine.

Minimum qualifications: Able to work collaboratively with physicians and other health care providers. Demonstrates good written and oral communication skills. Computer literacy required for automated computer systems, including electronic medical records.

Compensation Range

$107,993.60 - $172,785.60

Employee pay is based on a variety of factors, including qualifications, credentials, education, and prior work experience. The compensation range does not include benefits or pension plan.
