Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner leader to manage a small‑to‑medium team of advanced practice providers while continuing to deliver direct patient care. The role combines supervision, mentoring, and clinical excellence at 75 Francis Street in Boston, MA, with a hybrid work arrangement.

You will hire, train, and evaluate APP staff, participate in quality assurance, ensure billing compliance, coordinate with physicians and nurses, and support

Qualifications

• Master's degree required for PA or NP licensure.
• Current licensure as Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
• 5–7 years of licensed APP experience required.

Responsibilities

• Directly oversees and is accountable for the performance of a team of APPs and/or other direct reports.
• Hires, performs, manages, and completes performance appraisals for a team of APPs and/or other direct reports.
• Orients, trains, and schedules staff.
• Assists with quality assurance programs to support quality improvement efforts.
• Ensures continuing education and teaching for APPs.
• Acts as liaison between the hospital, physician and nursing staff, and other APPs.
• Ensures APPs follow proper billing compliance rules and methodology.
