Job description

This position involves managing reporting APPs and supervisors, overseeing activities related to patient care, service line development, quality improvement, and policy enforcement. The role requires balancing administrative duties, such as staffing, onboarding, and performance evaluations, with clinical responsibilities, typically split 50/50.

Responsibilities include strategic planning, staffing efficiency, mentoring, representing APPs in external reviews, financial oversight, quality metrics development, and clinical training oversight. The position reports to both the APP Director and a physician leader, with supervisory duties over APPs in the assigned areas.

Qualifications include licensure and certification as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in Michigan, relevant clinical and leadership experience, and compliance with licensing and DEA requirements. Resume submission is mandatory.
