Job summary

Benefis Health System in Montana is seeking an inpatient nocturnist to cover nights (7p–7a) on a 7-on/7-off schedule with dedicated physician support and 1 hospitalist team on site.

You’ll work in a 349-bed hospital with Epic EMR access, participate in RRTs and codes, and collaborate with a wide specialty network across the system. Relocation assistance, CME/licensing support, and retirement matching are available.

Position Details

• Experience required - independent opportunity with physician support

• Nocturnist shift (7p-7a), 7on/7off with dedicated physician support (7p-7a) and 2 physician admitters (7a-5p and 11a-9p)

• Epic EMR providing easy access to colleges and specialists - dragon dictation

• Dedicated swing/nocturnist office space next to emergency department in addition to hospitalist office space on inpatient floor, with easy access to all areas of the system

• Required to attend RRTs or code blues with opportunity to ask for physician back up if needed

• Great access to specialists with over 440 providers on our medical staff representing 40 specialties, including: Neurosurgery, CVT Surgery, Interventional Radiology, Interventional and General Cardiology, General Surgery, Urology, Neurology, Nephrology, Orthopedics, Inpatient Gastroenterology, Psychiatry, and more!

• No procedures required and no ICU coverage as intensivists are in house 24/7 for consultation

• Cover only 1 hospital with 349 acute care beds, admitting medical and surgical patients 16 years of age and older (adult), excluding last trimester obstetrical, and providing medical coordination and inpatient management for surgical patients
