Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle seeks an Advanced Practice Provider to deliver primary care for transplant and immunotherapy patients, within a collaborative transplant team. The APP conducts history taking, examinations, orders studies, and prescribes therapies, including bone marrow procedures, under physician supervision.

The role requires Washington-licensed PA/NP with national certification; strong communication, teamwork, and computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program and licensed in Washington.
• National Certification appropriate for the profession.
• Licensed for schedule II drug authority at credentialing time.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills are essential.
• Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Experience in oncology or bone marrow transplant is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide primary care for blood and marrow transplant and immunotherapy patients under physician supervision.
• Perform assessments, triage, and manage patient care within a collaborative team.
• Conduct bone marrow aspirations, lumbar punctures, and assist with bone marrow harvests.
• Follow up care of bone marrow donors under supervision.
• Coordinate diagnostic studies and prescribe treatments as appropriate.
