Job summary

Consumer Direct Care Network seeks an Application Development Manager to orchestrate software development and data integration across systems. You will lead development teams to deliver quality solutions on schedule, aligning with business requirements and strategic goals.

The role requires SDLC expertise, strong leadership, and the ability to collaborate with Business Analysts, IT, Product Management, QA, and other units. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 4 years of supervisory experience leading development efforts in software development or related position, experience managing medium and large project/development teams.
• Experience in all aspects of Software Development Life Cycle including architecting solutions, designing applications, coding, unit testing and implementing utilizing a variety of tools and technologies.
• Must be able to successfully pass National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation
• Ability to work flexible and/or extended hours, if needed, to meet the job requirements
• Employees must provide their own reliable internet if working a remote/hybrid position

Responsibilities

• Hire, develop, lead, and train talented development resources
• Establish and enforce the tools, techniques, principles and practices of the development department
• Translate business requirements into functional software
• Maintain internal partnerships with Business Analysts, IT Infrastructure, Product Management, QA and other units
• Support, troubleshoot and repair software issues in a timely manner
• Provide consulting in pre-feasibility and feasibility discussions with IT and business partners
• Travel up to 25% of the time for meetings, leadership collaboration, training, conferences and other activities
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
