Qualifications

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an App Developer (multiple positions open for a range of experience levels) to support a national leading aerospace and global security program! The role is fully on site in Herndon, VA. This position offers extensive opportunity for long term growth and career development, as well as the opportunity to be part of a team of highly accomplished Software Developers.

Responsibilities of the App Developer:

• Apply the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle.


• Apply knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software.


• Correct program errors, compiling documentation of program development, and analyzing system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.


• Ensure software standards are defined and met.

Required Qualifications of the App Developer:

*Active TS (Top Secret) OR TS/SCI Clearance REQUIRED*

• 2 + years of relevant experience in Java


• 2+ years of experience in either front-end or fullstack development


• Experience with DevSecOps, Angular, or Kubernetes is a plus!


• Ability to work with XML


• Proven experience in COTS/FOSS integration and support


• Ability to troubleshoot and navigate multiple operating system environments including LINUX/Windows


• Bachelors' degree

Compensation for the App Developer:

• Salary Range: $130,000-$195,000 depending on experience
