Brookwood Baptist Health in Birmingham, AL, seeks an experienced Physician Assistant (PA) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join our Cardiothoracic Surgery team. You’ll support complex cardiac procedures, collaborate with renowned surgeons, and provide patient care across the surgical continuum.

Location options include Princeton Campus and Brookwood Campus. Schedule Monday–Friday 7:00 AM–5:00 PM with on-site call rotation.

Qualifications

Ideal candidate is an experienced APP in a fast-paced operating room.
Passionate about cardiovascular surgery and patient outcomes.
Works well in a team with accountability and strong clinical focus.

Responsibilities

Assist surgeons during cardiovascular surgical procedures
Prepare patients for surgery with CVOR and anesthesia teams
Perform advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
Conduct patient assessments, histories, and physical examinations
Write orders, progress notes, and post-operative documentation

Schedule

Monday through Friday7:00 AM – 5:00 PMParticipation in call rotation required with the ability to respond on-site within 30 minutes.
