Job summary

Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, part of LifeBridge Health, is seeking a Cardiology Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) to join the cardiovascular team. The APP will perform inpatient consultations, daily rounding, diagnostic testing, discharge planning, and support ambulatory clinics to improve access and outcomes for cardiovascular patients.

Minimum experience includes less than one year, with a preference for 2 years in cardiovascular or acute care.

Qualifications

• Must have NP/MPA/MSN degree and licensure.
• Current Maryland PA or CRNP License required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient consultations and daily rounding.
• Diagnostic testing and discharge planning.
• Ambulatory clinic support and care coordination.

Summary

The Cardiology Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) functions as an integral member of the cardiovascular team, providing comprehensive, evidence-based care to patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions. The APP collaborates closely with cardiologists, nursing staff, case management, ancillary services, and referring providers to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across the inpatient and outpatient settings. Responsibilities include inpatient consultations, daily rounding, diagnostic testing, discharge planning, and ambulatory clinic support while promoting quality outcomes, reducing hospital readmissions, and improving patient access to cardiovascular care.

Experience

Required:

• Less than one year

Experience Note: Prefer a minimum of 2 years of cardiovascular or acute care experience. Experience in inpatient cardiology, hospital medicine, or critical care preferred. Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement, patient-centered care, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Education

Required:

• NP or MPAS or MSN

Licensures & Certifications

Required:

• Current Maryland PA or CRNP License
• Basic Life Support

Pay Range

Pay Range: $45.00 to $90.00 Based On Experience
