Job summary
Norton Healthcare is seeking an APP-Clinical Quality provider in Louisville, KY to deliver patient-centered care with emphasis on prevention, health promotion and maintenance. Required credentials include a Master of Nursing and NP/NNP/RN certifications; DEA and KASPER registrations are also required for prescribing controlled substances.
Qualifications
- Master degree in nursing is required.
- NNP/NP/RN certifications are required.
- Collaborative/supervisory agreement per state statutes and DEA/KASPER where applicable.
Responsibilities
- Provide healthcare with emphasis on disease prevention, health promotion, health maintenance and supportive care.

The APP-Clinical Quality provides healthcare to patients with an emphasis on disease prevention, health promotion, health maintenance and supportive care. The APP-Clinical Quality works independently, as well as collaboratively, to diagnose, prescribe treatment, manage and evaluate patient care. The APP-Clinical Quality functions as an educator, healthcare resource, interdisciplinary consultant and patient advocate.
Required: Collaborative/Supervisory Agreement as required and in alignment with state and board regulatory statutes; Valid DEA number and KASPER registration if prescribing controlled substances; Maintains appropriate scope of practice within population.
Required:
- Master Degree in Nursing
- National Nurse Practitioner (NNP) AND Nurse Practitioner (NP) AND Registered Nurse (RN)
Desired:
- One year of clinical experience
- Doctorate Degree in Nursing
