Job summary

OSF HealthCare in Peoria, IL is seeking a qualified APP to join our occupational health team. The role emphasizes evaluation and management of work-related injuries, experienced as a Medical Examiner for DOT/preplacement exams, and collaboration with employers and clinicians to promote healthy work environments.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in nursing or physician assistant studies from an accredited program.
• Current Illinois license as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant.
• Certification by ANCC or NCCPA.
• Minimum of two years of APP experience in occ health, primary care, urgent care or related field preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

Expected pay for this position is $55.20 - $63.65/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a Salaried position.

• Clinical base hourly pay range for this position: $55.20-63.65 hr
  • Range shown should be used as an estimate and can be impacted by many factors including but not limited to the critical need of the position, overall experience and qualifications, community need, and other considerations. Additional compensation components may be applicable such as bonuses or incentives which may or may not be based on metric achievement.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Master’s degree or higher in nursing or physician assistant studies from an accredited program
• Current Illinois license as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant
• Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
• Minimum of two years of experience as an APP in occ health, primary care, urgent careor a related field is preferred
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care aligned to the preferences, goals, and needs of the patients served
