Job summary

Sonsoft, Inc. is seeking an API-focused professional in the United States. The role requires hands-on design and development of RESTful APIs, strong Apigee Edge experience, and solid knowledge of web API standards. Candidates should have 4+ years in IT and be proficient in Java/Spring or Node.js.

U.S. work authorization is required. Full-time, permanent position encouraged for eligible candidates. Visa sponsorship is not available at this time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required; three years of progressive experience may substitute for each year of education.
• Minimum 4 years of experience within Information Technologies.
• Experience with Apigee Edge and RESTful API design is required.

Job Description

• At least 1 year of experience with Apigee Edge.
• Extensive experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Broad knowledge of web standards relating to APIs (OAuth, SSL, CORS, JWT, etc.).
• Extensive coding experience with either Java/Spring or Node.js.
• Understanding of differences between SOA and API design.
• Knowledge of Change & Incident Management process (CMRs, etc.).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of experience within the Information Technologies.
