Job summary

Texas Instruments is seeking an IT Site Reliability Engineer to own the Apigee Edge private cloud platform and provide SRE support across automation tools. You will partner with security, network, and development teams to ensure a stable, secure, scalable API management stack.

This role sits at the intersection of infrastructure, DevOps, and platform reliability, requiring deep API management expertise and strong collaboration across enterprise teams.

Qualifications

Strong API management operations experience.
Incident management with RCA and PIR experience.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and IaC tooling.

Responsibilities

Own Apigee Edge private cloud platform lifecycle from install to upgrade.
Install, configure, patch and maintain components across environments.
Own monitoring and implement self-healing where possible.
Lead incident response, RCA, PIRs and post-incident reviews.
Support API proxy deployments and performance tuning.
Enforce security hardening, TLS/SSL and RBAC across the stack.
Monitor capacity, plan scaling, and manage backups/DR procedures.
Engage with Google/Apigee support and advise on roadmaps.
Provide cross-platform SRE support across automation tools.
