Job summary

Bank of America seeks an API Services Support Engineer to design and maintain MuleSoft/TIBCO driven integrations. You will build templates, playbooks, and automation to enable deployment of API solutions while ensuring alignment with architecture standards.

The role requires weekend coverage and collaboration with global teams to onboard clients to the MuleSoft platform. You will work across Linux/Windows environments, help configure runtimes, and support performance testing and monitoring in a

Qualifications

  • Experience designing and deploying API services using MuleSoft and/or TIBCO.
  • Hands-on with Linux/Unix, Windows, and middleware administration.
  • Experience with API contracts, RAML/Swagger, and API management modules.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, Ansible, Tower) and DevOps practices.
  • Strong understanding of microservices, SOA, and service-oriented architecture.

Responsibilities

  • Provide SME consulting on technologies and ensure solutions meet enterprise standards.
  • Translate business requirements into technical blueprints and deployment playbooks.
  • Develop templates, automation, and support for MuleSoft/TIBCO integrations.
  • Assist with vendor evaluations and on-boarding of new clients to MuleSoft platform.
  • Set up monitoring, troubleshoot, and support CI/CD pipelines across environments.

Job Description: This job is responsible for tool and service designs within a technical domain that enable business strategies in accordance with architectural governance, standards and policies. Key responsibilities include creating infrastructure tools and their integration as a service, facilitating deployment of technical solutions by developing templates, playbooks and automation used during implementation. Job expectations include looking for opportunities to improve efficiency when implementing and maintaining tools/services and embracing a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. CTI ADS API Services team is seeking a highly motivated API Services Support Engineer. API Services platform team provides 24x7 support across the globe. The Support Engineer will work with global support team to provide frontline coverage for the platform. The role additionally will provide opportunities to design, build and maintain MuleSoft / TIBCO based Integration and API platforms.

Responsibilities:

Provides subject matter expertise and consulting services on a range of technologies and assists Technical Analysts and Infrastructure Engineers to ensure that technology solutions comply with enterprise system design and engineering standards Assists with translating business requirements into technical definitions, reference models, blueprints, and playbooks for deployment in compliance with architecture standards and policies Assists in the evaluation of reference models, blueprints and playbooks to ensure they are fit for purpose Develops software solutions to address manual and repeatable work or inefficient processes Conducts on-site evaluations of third-party products being considered for firm adoption Promotes an inclusive and healthy working environment and helps to resolve organizational impediments/blockers Contributes to the creation/selection of functional and non-functional product evaluation requirements within and across domains The support engineer will work in shift coverage and may require at least 1 weekend day (Either Saturday or Sunday) as part of weekly shifts. Responsible for translating the requirements into one of the infrastructure design, build it, and perform QA/QC tests to ensure platform meets the requirements. Work closely with new clients to on board them to MuleSoft platform, help them setup CI/CD routines, configure MuleSoft runtimes, help application teams do performance testing. Set up monitoring, troubleshooting environment issues on Linux and Windows environment, and manage access.

Required Qualifications:

Primary Skills: MuleSoft, Linux, TIBCO, Middleware Administration Hands on experience in MuleSoft Anypoint Platform Experience in developing large-scale integration and API solutions using MuleSoft and/or TIBCO Experience in creating RAML and SWAGGER based API contracts and mocking services Experience in working with API Management, ARM, Exchange and Access Management modules of PCE Experience in creating custom policies and custom connectors Experience in deploying API / Microservices using various modes including ARM, Containers and Cloud Development skills/tools: Java/J2EE, Eclipse, Unix Shell Scripting, ANT, Jython/Python, .Net, Powershell Experience with Continuous Integration and Delivery practices and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, Ansible / Tower) Experience with SDLC development processes (Waterfall, Agile, Lean) and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Rally, Git) Hands on Linux / Unix and Windows experience in context of setting up MuleSoft environments/troubleshooting Experience with Service Oriented Architecture / Microservices etc. Willing to learn new technologies

Desired Qualifications:

At least 1 active MuleSoft Certification is desirable.
