Job summary

Novo Nordisk in Clayton, NC seeks an API manufacturing operator to operate highly automated production equipment and achieve daily production goals in a cgmp environment. You will follow GMP documentation, review SOPs, maintain batch records, participate in qualification activities, and ensure clean room standards and safety.

This role requires high school diploma; associate degree or technical training preferred; manufacturing experience helpful.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Associate's Degree or higher in Tech, Science, or Engineering preferred.
• BioWork or equivalent industrial training with experience preferred.
• Minimum two years of manufacturing experience in FDA regulated environment preferred.
• Ability to read and understand SOPs and product documentation with attention to detail.
• Computer literacy including MS Office required.
• Knowledge of cGMP and ISO standards.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate API manufacturing equipment to achieve production goals.
• Follow GMP documentation and ensure product quality.
• Review SOPs and other documents as required.
• Real-time review of electronic batch records for compliance.
• Manage individual training plan.
• Participate in qualification and validation activities as required.
• Setup, operate, monitor, and control highly automated processes and systems.
• Load and unload product from trucks and ISO containers as required.
• Execute production schedule and troubleshoot equipment maintenance.
• Maintain clean room areas and environmental monitoring.
