Job summary

Motion Industries (MOT) is seeking a Cloud Engineer focused on API Management to design, implement, and maintain API ecosystems using Google Cloud Apigee. You will bridge backend services with consumer apps, ensuring security, scalability, and performance across the API lifecycle.

You will automate CI/CD pipelines with Terraform, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins, while configuring proxies, security policies, and OpenAPI specs. Collaboration with product and engineering teams will drive API strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of Cloud Engineering experience focusing on API Gateway/Management platforms.
• Hands-on with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Apigee.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Crossplane, Terraform, or Pulumi).
• Knowledge of OpenAPI, OAuth2, OIDC, TLS security, and API security best practices.

SUMMARY:The Cloud Engineer (API Management) is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust API ecosystems. This role focuses on leveraging Google Cloud's Apigee platform and API Marketplace technologies to enable secure, scalable, and discoverable API services.
