U.S. Multimodal Group is seeking an Integration Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable API integrations in Franklin, TN.

This on-site, full-time role emphasizes secure API practices, AI-enabled enhancements, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. You will translate business requirements into technical specs, document endpoints and data models, and ensure systems operate reliably.

Qualifications

4+ years of experience in system integrations.
Experience designing, developing, and deploying APIs in production.
Strong understanding of API architectures and web services.
Ability to troubleshoot and debug.
Able to absorb new ideas quickly.
Customer-oriented and driven to excellence.

Responsibilities

Designs, develops, and maintains scalable API integration code.
Implements API security with authentication, authorization, and data encryption.
Translates business requirements into technical documentation.
Integrates AI tools and frameworks within API services.
Creates API documentation including endpoints, data models, and usage guidelines.
Configures and re-configures business systems as needed.
Debugs issues and provides second-level IT support.
Supports IT standards and ongoing professional development.
Monitors and collaborates with teams to resolve incidents and fulfill requests.
