Job summary

Sunbird Software in Sioux Falls, SD seeks an Integration Automation Specialist to handle REST API integrations between Sunbird DCIM and client systems. You will develop, debug, and optimize Python-based integration scripts, leverage Pandas and Requests, and ensure data quality during migration using SQL and data-processing libraries.

You will troubleshoot API and data issues, maintain code in GitHub, and work with OpenAPI specs while supporting customers across Linux and Windows environments.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• One year of experience providing customer support in a technical environment.
• Strong customer-facing project management, analysis, troubleshooting, and technical skills.
• Working knowledge of REST APIs and API-based system integration.
• Working knowledge of SQL queries and relational databases.
• Working knowledge of JSON data structures and data exchange.
• Working knowledge of GitHub source control and version management.
• Working knowledge of Python scripting.

Responsibilities

• Integrate customers’ existing software with Sunbird software through REST APIs.
• Integrate customers’ facility management devices with Sunbird DCIM software.
• Develop, maintain, analyze, and debug Python code used for integrations, automation, and data processing.
• Develop integrations using Python libraries such as Requests, Pandas, and other API and data-processing libraries.
• Analyze, scrub, transform, and migrate customer data from external sources into DCIM systems.
• Process and correct raw customer data for migration, integration, and analysis.
• Troubleshoot API, data, and integration issues throughout implementation.
• Maintain integration and automation code using GitHub source control.
• Work with REST API documentation, including Swagger/OpenAPI specifications.
• Use SQL to retrieve, analyze, validate, and troubleshoot customer and system data.
• Use command-line tools in Linux and Windows environments to support integration and troubleshooting activities.
