Job summary

Turner Specialty Services, LLC is seeking an experienced API Inspector (510/570) for work in the Plaquemine, LA area. This role will perform NDE of materials in accordance to referenced codes and have the ability to read isometric drawings.

This is a non-exempt, site-based position reporting to the Site Manager with close supervision per procedures. Local position with no per diem; API 510/570 certification and TWIC are required, along with a valid driver s license and the ability to pass

Qualifications

• API 510/570 Certification.
• TWIC card is required.
• Must have a valid drivers license.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, turnaround environment.

Responsibilities

• Generate weld repair plans and ITPs; review work packages across Mechanical, QA/QC, NDE/NDT, and related disciplines; follow client-provided procedures and drawings.
• Perform duties associated with API inspection in accordance to referenced codes.
• Maintain safety and quality standards on site.

Turner Specialty Services, LLC is seeking an experienced API Inspector (510 / 570) for work in the Plaquemine, LA area. This role will perform duties associated with NDE of materials in accordance to referencing code. API 510/570 Inspection and ability to follow and draw isometric drawings. Non-exempt role; Reports to Site Manager; Close Supervision assigned duties according to specific procedures / work is checked frequently.

Essential Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Documentation needed: certifications and resume
• Must possess excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills

• Job site safety requirements as required by the client (clean shaven, long sleeves, steel toe boots, etc.)
• Safety equipment as required by the client (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, respirator, hearing protection, safety harness with lanyard, etc.)

Functional Requirements:

Generate weld repair plans and ITP's, review work packages for Mechanical (welding, pipe fitting, boilermaking), soft-skill (Scaffolding, Painting, Insulation), civil, rigs all sizes, QA/QC, X-Ray, hydro blazing, etc., perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction

Compensation

Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
