Job summary

Oceaneering International Inc. is seeking an API Inspector to review inspection data files of pipelines, process piping, pressure vessels and tanks to ensure mechanical integrity in accordance with applicable design and inspection codes.

This position requires travel to client sites, manufacturing facilities, and offshore locations to perform inspections, support project needs, and deliver exceptional technical expertise.

Qualifications

• Experience reviewing inspection data and ensuring compliance with design/inspection codes.
• Willingness to travel domestically and offshore for project support.

Responsibilities

• Review inspection data files for pipelines, process piping, pressure vessels and tanks.
• Ensure mechanical integrity is maintained in accordance with governing codes.
• Provide technical support on site visits and offshore inspections.

Job description

The API Inspector position will report to the Mechanical Integrity Engineer and will review inspection data files of pipelines, process piping, pressure vessels and tanks for facilities ensuring the mechanical integrity of the equipment is in compliance with the applicable governing design & inspection codes.

This position requires travel to client sites, manufacturing facilities, and offshore locations to perform inspections, support project needs, and deliver exceptional technical expertise. Travel will be mostly domestic with potential for some international travel.
