Job summary

The Kendall Group is seeking an API Developer III to design, build, and maintain enterprise APIs and SSIS-based integrations that connect ERP data to internal systems and external partners. You will work with multi-value data models, ensure data integrity, and mentor other developers.

You will participate in API versioning, security best practices, and collaboration with ERP teams and vendors to deliver reliable enterprise integrations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3 years of API development and SSIS system integrations required.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills; experience with REST, HTTP, JSON, and authentication methods.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs exposing ERP data across business systems.
• Build and maintain SSIS packages to orchestrate API integrations and data transformations.
• Translate complex multi-valued data structures into normalized API payloads for external use.
• Implement API versioning, error handling, and retry logic for reliable integrations.
• Lead and mentor API developers in SSIS, API design, and ERP integration concepts.
• Collaborate with ERP analysts, stakeholders, and vendors to validate data definitions and workflows.
• Establish coding standards, logging, and documentation for APIs and SSIS packages.
• Monitor performance and troubleshoot data, security, or reliability issues.
