Job summary

Arclin is seeking an experienced Mechanical Integrity and QA Inspector to ensure the reliability and regulatory compliance of fixed equipment at the Spruance site in Richmond, VA. The role requires API credentials and leadership to guide inspections, repairs, and continuous improvement initiatives.

As the on-site MI Inspector, you will oversee code-compliant inspections, prepare reports, mentor junior staff, and coordinate with contractors to maintain safety and plant reliability.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in mechanical integrity or fixed equipment inspection in manufacturing.
• At least one API certification (510/570/653).
• Knowledge of ASME, API, National Board codes and regs.
• Strong problem solving, communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections of pressure vessels, piping, tanks, and fixed equipment per ASME/API/NB/regulatory requirements.
• Assess condition and recommend repairs or continued service.
• Prepare inspection reports and ensure timely corrective actions.
• Support repair planning, fitness-for-service, and investigations.
• Mentor technicians and junior inspectors.
