We are looking for an experienced API Architect Lead to design, govern, and oversee our API platform, including MuleSoft and API Gateway architectures. You will ensure secure, compliant, and efficient API integrations while providing technical guidance across software, data, and systems. This role collaborates with developers, DevOps teams, architects, and project managers on software development, integration, and infrastructure projects.
Design and manage API architectures and governance for MuleSoft and other API management platforms.
Ensure security and compliance with CMS ARS standards.
Provide technical oversight for integration, testing, and deployment of APIs.
Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and technical teams to enforce best practices.
Influence solution architecture and technical decisions across software, data, network, and system domains.
Support large-scale federal projects, ensuring scalable and reliable API solutions.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Cloud Architect Certification (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
MuleSoft or equivalent API certification.
8+ years of experience with API platform architecture, microservices, RESTful APIs, and cloud-native solutions.
Experience supporting federal or government environments preferred.
U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident eligible for Public Trust clearance.
