Job summary

Acuren Inspection is recruiting for an API 510/570 Inspector for operations at a corn/agricultural plant in Decatur, IL. This embedded position requires compliance with API and ASME standards and includes travel as needed.

Qualifications

• API 510/570 knowledge required.
• 2+ years on-site experience or 5–10 years in inspection roles preferred.
• API 653 or CWI a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and non-destructive examination of pressure retaining equipment per API and ASME standards.
• Submit technically accurate reports documenting equipment condition.
• Provide technical input for repair, re-rate, replacement or alteration of plant equipment.
• Advise on welding and metallurgical issues as needed.
• Adhere to all safety practices and participate in site safety initiatives.
• Willingness to travel as required.
