Work with Abt technical teams to produce high-quality on-time technical work.
Provide technical expertise to clients in areas related to climate literature and climate modeling; hydrology; and water resource management.
Cultivate sustained client relationships.
What We Value

Previous experience conducting literature review and synthesis reports.
Familiarity with climate models and interpreting model outputs.
Core understanding of observed and projected climate variables:
Precipitation; temperature; sea level; flooding; streamflow; snowpack; evapotranspiration; drought; wildfire; and extreme seasonal, temporal, and spatial variation in these variables.
Desired:
PhD focused on climate observations and projections with focus on hydrology and the water cycle across the U.S.
One to three + years of related experience.
Five + years of experience with technical level writing.
Demonstrated publication history with focus on climate science manuscripts.
Reviewer of climate science publications.
Prior consulting experience or experience working as a federal government employee.
Understanding of federal clients, such as the Environmental Protection Agency, Department of Agriculture.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, including setting priorities and adapting to changes in a time-sensitive, deliverable driven workplace.
