We are currently seeking a California-licensed Special Education Teacher with Adapted Physical Education (APE) certification to provide virtual services to K-12 students across partner school districts in California. This position is ideal for educators who are self-motivated, tech-savvy, and passionate about providing inclusive, adaptive instruction in a virtual environment.
Provide virtual Adapted Physical Education services to students with IEPs
Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals specific to APE
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including general education teachers, therapists, and families
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to eligibility and service decisions
Maintain documentation and service logs in accordance with school and state guidelines
Utilize engaging, evidence-based instructional methods tailored for online learning
California Education Specialist Credential with APE Authorization
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education, Adapted Physical Education, or related field
Familiarity with California IEP processes and compliance
Reliable high-speed internet and a private, quiet workspace
Comfortable using technology platforms for instruction, documentation, and communication
Fully remote position with flexible scheduling
