Position Title: APD/PD Auto Adjuster – Personal Lines

What you’ll be doing:

  1. Review and assess claims to determine coverage, liability, and extent of damages.
  2. Conduct thorough investigations by interviewing insureds, claimants, witnesses, and reviewing all claims documentation to ensure accurate outcomes.
  3. Set timely, adequate reserves in compliance with the client’s reserving philosophy and methodology.
  4. Make recommendations for settlement amounts and negotiate/resolve claims throughout their lifecycle, including supplements.
  5. Refer to SIU where appropriate and assist in investigations and settlement processes.
  6. Identify opportunities for recovery (Subrogation/Salvage) and pursue accordingly.
  7. Ensure all claims are managed in compliance with state regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
  8. Express positive expectations and communicate effectively with team members, becoming a resource to others.
  9. Operate processes and ensure adherence to defined Service Level Agreements with clients.
  10. Provide excellent customer service by keeping all involved parties informed and addressing concerns or questions.
  11. Grow and develop skills through our training programs.

What you’ll bring to the team:

  1. Individual Independent State Adjuster licenses required; ability to obtain proper licensing within 60 days of hire.
  2. 5+ years of Personal Lines Auto Insurance experience, specializing in adjusting low to moderate complexity auto claims.
  3. Ability to determine liability and coverage on complex claims.
  4. Establish effective diaries throughout the claim lifecycle.
  5. Maintain and document claim file activities per procedures.
  6. Familiarity with estimating platforms for material damage claims.
  7. Ability to work in a high-production environment utilizing various technology solutions virtually.
  8. Strong analytical reasoning skills and autonomous decision-making ability.
