Job summary

Sunset Estates of Jonesboro is seeking an Apartment Service Technician to join our maintenance team. You will perform daily maintenance, respond to resident requests, and prepare vacants for new residents at Sunset Estates of Jonesboro in Jonesboro, AR.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of multifamily maintenance, basic plumbing, electrical and HVAC knowledge, and strong customer service. RichSmith Management offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for career advancement.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of multifamily maintenance experience.
General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry, and HVAC systems.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be available to participate in an on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

Perform daily maintenance and repairs throughout the community.
Complete resident service requests promptly and professionally.
Prepare vacant apartments for new residents, including make-ready repairs.
Perform preventative maintenance on apartments, buildings, and equipment.
Maintain the appearance of the community, including grounds and common areas.
Assist with pool operation and maintenance, where applicable.
Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance, and carpentry issues.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe maintenance shop.
Participate in the community's 24-hour emergency on-call rotation.
Deliver outstanding customer service while interacting with residents and team members.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
