Job summary

InterSolutions, a premier staffing company in the multifamily industry, is seeking a driven Leasing Assistant Property Manager in Baton Rouge, LA. You will support the Property Manager and handle leasing tasks, resident inquiries, and day-to-day operations.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of property management or leasing experience, strong customer service and communication skills, and proficiency with Word, Outlook, and Excel.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience as an Assistant Community Manager or Leasing Consultant
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Strong follow-up and reliable follow-through
• Proficiency with basic computer applications (Word, Outlook, Excel)
• Willing to work day, weekend, and evening hours as required

Responsibilities

• Assist Property Manager in daily apartment operations
• Deliver excellent resident service and resolve concerns promptly
• Monitor market conditions and competitive properties to adjust leasing strategies
• Track tenant accounts and follow up on delinquent payments
• Support leasing and marketing efforts to attract and retain residents

As an Assistant Property Manager, you ll play a vital role in supporting the Property Manager and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the community.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assisting Property Manager in day-to-day operations of the apartment community
• Delivering exceptional customer service to residents and resolving concerns promptly
• Staying informed on market conditions and competitor properties to optimize leasing strategies
• Monitoring tenant accounts and following up on delinquent payments
• Supporting leasing and marketing efforts to attract and retain residents
