Richman Property Services, Inc. in Victoria, TX is seeking a Seasonal Apartment Maintenance Technician to join the Maintenance Operations team. The role runs roughly 3–6 months with potential to become full-time for the right candidate.

Responsibilities include daily upkeep, preparing units for occupancy, managing service requests, and ensuring OSHA/The Clean Air Act compliance. Industry experience, EPA certification, and Yardi knowledge are required or strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; industry courses preferred.
• EPA I/II or Universal certification preferred or required.
• Experience in multi-family residential maintenance.
• Knowledge of safety and compliance practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily repair and upkeep of the property.
• Prepare vacant units for occupancy within established deadlines.
• Manage service requests and ensure timely completion.

• Oversee inventory and care of tools and equipment.
• Complete required training, logs, and reports in a timely manner.

• Collaborate on maintaining curb appeal and cleanliness of buildings and grounds.

Join our growing Team as a Seasonal Maintenance Technician at Richman Property Services, Inc (RPS), in Victoria, TX!

Richman Property Services, Inc. is currently seeking a SeasonalMaintenance Technician to join our dynamic Maintenance Operations team. Are you a community-inspired, passion-driven individual with a can-do attitude? If so, we want you on our team. This is a seasonal or "Fall/Winter" position, the assignment will likely last 3-6 months, and may lead to a regular full time position with RPS for the right Maintenance Tech.

Position: Maintenance Technician 1

Location: Mockingbird Lane Plaza, our 160-unit residential community located in Victoria, TX

Hours: Monday through Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm, weekend rotation required, discussed during interview process

What we offer our Seasonal Maintenance Tech's:

• Competitive base hourly pay, day time schedule (8:00-5:00pm, Monday through Friday), up to $22.50 per hour
• $40.00 per month personal cell-phone allowance
• Paid Sick-Time (PST) accruals
• We prefer applicant's that already have EPA 1 & 2 or EPA Universal, if you are currently EPA certified but posses the right skills, experience, drive to join our team, we may sponsor (and pay) for your EPA certification within your first 75-days or hire.

What we are looking for:

• 2 or more years experience performing maintenance in a similar high-volume multi-family residential environment
• EPA I & II or EPA Universal certified
• Experience with Yardi property management software
• Ability to work on-call/weekend rotation
• Excellent resident relations skills, penchant for curb-appeal, teamwork minded individuals looking to grow!

Requirements:

• Education:
  • High school diploma or GED; industry-related courses preferred
• Experience:
  • Minimum of two (2) years of maintenance and general repair experience or Groundskeeper
  • Proficiency in maintenance tasks, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, etc.
  • Must own basic tools as allowed by state laws
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws, including Fair Housing Laws
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
• Skills & Certifications:
  • EPA Section 608 Type I and II or Universal Technician license, strongly preferred
  • Valid Driver's License required
  • Proficient in English for communication and record-keeping purposes
