Job summary

Carteret Management Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician responsible for performing routine building maintenance for Fairlawn Village, an apartment community located in Orlando, FL. Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Prior maintenance experience.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry and HVAC.
• Ability to multitask with attention to detail.
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
• Ability to perform general janitorial duties.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to work cooperatively with on-site staff, vendors and residents.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high levels of resident satisfaction and safety.
• Ensure compliance with standards set by Carteret Management and the Maintenance Supervisor/Property Manager.
• Perform hands-on maintenance across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, painting and exterior work.
• Handle apartment turnovers including cleaning, painting and carpet care as directed.
• Occasionally be available for after-hours emergency calls.
