Apartment Maintenance Technician | MAA Breakwater

Join us as an Apartment Maintenance Technician at MAA Breakwater. Be part of a dynamic team dedicated to exceeding residents’ expectations and maintaining high standards of service.

Role Overview

The Maintenance Technician performs general maintenance and repairs to ensure apartment homes and property facilities are in optimal condition. Responsibilities include preparing apartments for move-in, diagnosing and repairing HVAC units, electrical appliances, plumbing, carpentry, and locks. The role follows a preventative maintenance schedule and includes post-repair follow-up with residents.

Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience in multifamily property management, facility maintenance, or mechanical repair
  • HVAC experience required
  • EPA Type II or EPA Universal certification required at hire or within 90 days
  • Valid driver’s license
