Responsibilities

The Apartment Maintenance Technician performs general maintenance and repairs to ensure apartment homes and property facilities are in good working order. Responsibilities include:

• Preparing apartments for move-in
• Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing HVAC units, electrical appliances, outlets, and light fixtures
• Handling plumbing, carpentry, and lock repairs
• Following a preventative maintenance schedule and following up with residents after repairs

Qualifications

• One to three years of experience in multifamily property management, facility maintenance, or mechanical repair
• HVAC experience required
• EPA Type II or EPA Universal certification required at hire or within 90 days
• Valid driver’s license from the state of residence
