Position Summary:

Link Apartments Noda 36th is seeking a full-time Service Technician to join their team. The technician handles maintenance tasks related to work orders, apartment preparation for occupancy, and preventative maintenance programs. Understands all functions of the Service Supervisor and reports to the Property Manager.

Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and maintain HVAC systems, plumbing, roofs, gutters, and recreational facilities.
  • Assist with turning vacant apartments into ready-to-rent units, oversee inspections, and prepare apartments for occupancy.
  • Leave written explanations of work performed in each unit for residents.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-maintained community, fostering good relations with residents.
  • Assist with pool operation and maintenance, including chemical levels and equipment.
  • Complete work orders within 24 hours.
  • Follow safety protocols and directives.
  • Participate in emergency call duties.
  • Learn all maintenance aspects related to apartment readiness.
  • Maintain tools and equipment.
  • Report hazards or emergencies.
Qualifications:
  • 2-5 years of experience in maintenance.
  • Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
  • HVAC certification; willing to obtain Pool Operator license.
  • Good mechanical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Physical & Environmental Requirements:
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends.
  • Work in residential and outdoor environments.
  • Physical ability to move, climb, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to drive a golf cart.
