Pratum Co is seeking a Maintenance Technician in the West Baltimore area. The technician will perform general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment, ensuring optimal operation of heating, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Responsibilities include completing service requests, conducting preventative maintenance, and managing repairs. Candidates must possess experience in residential property maintenance, understand electrical and plumbing systems, and hold a high school diploma or equivalent along with EPA certification. This full-time role offers comprehensive benefits and a starting pay rate of $25 per hour, subject to qualifications.
Qualifications
Must be able to read and write English fluently.
A minimum of three years’ experience as a residential property management maintenance technician.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
Responsibilities
Complete service requests in a timely manner.
Daily unit maintenance – satisfy service requests per work order.
Support the setup of ventilation, refrigeration, and other systems.
Skills
Experience working in older buildings
Basic plumbing and electrical for residential properties
Make-ready experience
Drywall and painting
Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and other systems
Strong understanding of related experience
Operating a variety of equipment
Working knowledge of repair to common appliances
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Excellent manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
Education
