What You’ll Do:
Perform repairs in occupied and vacant apartment units (plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, appliances, etc.)
Get apartments "rent-ready" during resident move-outs and turnovers
Respond quickly and professionally to maintenance service requests
Troubleshoot basic HVAC, plumbing, and electrical issues
Keep shared spaces clean, safe, and in working order (hallways, laundry, exterior areas)
Monitor and maintain tools, materials, and equipment
Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with property standards
Assist with after-hours emergency maintenance as needed (on-call rotation)
What We’re Looking For:
2+ years of experience in general maintenance or handyman work (apartments or residential housing preferred)
Solid knowledge of plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and basic appliance repair
Good communication and time management skills
Able to work independently and solve problems on the fly
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
High school diploma or GED
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
Nice to Have:
Experience with apartment turnovers and property management
Bilingual (Spanish/English)
HVAC, plumbing, or electrical certification a plus
