Job summary

Lyon Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician for The Marke property in Santa Ana, CA. The role pays $23.00-$25.00 per hour and is on-site. The Technician ensures safety, appearance, and operational standards across the community.

Responsibilities include responding to resident maintenance requests, performing repairs across electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliances, and completing unit turns. On-site housing is not offered; a valid driver’s license and on-site attendance may be required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of hands on general maintenance experience.
• Flexible schedule including weekends OT on-call.
• Live on-site may be required.
• Must speak and write English clearly.
• Trade School or Maintenance Training Program preferred.
• HVAC experience preferred.
• CPO certification preferred.

Pay Range: $23.00-$25.00 per hour; on-site housing not offered

Our teams work hard to maintain a culture that is conducive to creative thinking, empowerment, and collaboration. We are currently looking to fill a Maintenance Technician position for The Marke, our property located in Santa Ana, CA.

The Maintenance Technician ensures the property community meets safety, appearance and operational standards established by the organization.

Essential Job Functions:

• Respond to resident requests for maintenance
• Maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of the property
• Complete necessary repairs to building exteriors and common areas as assigned by Supervisor.
• Complete Unit Turns
• Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance installation and repair
• Adhere to the company’s safety program rules, attend safety meetings and performs all duties in a safe manner.

Experience/Requirements:

• 1+ years of hands on general maintenance experience
• Available to work a flexible schedule (Weekends, OT, On-Call)
• Required to work on-call duty, weekends and may be required to live on-site.
• Required to speak and write the English language in an understandable manner.
• Trade School or Maintenance Training Program Preferred
• HVAC experience preferred but not required
• CPO preferred but not required

This position requires attendance at offsite meetings, visits to other Company operated locations, purchase of goods from offsite vendors and other tasks away from a single assigned location. Applicant must have a valid driver's license or be able to utilize an alternative form of transportation at their own expense which allows them to reach the required destination in a time period comparable to that if they were to drive their own vehicle. Employees choosing to drive their own vehicle for work-related duties will be required to have a valid driver’s license and provide proof of insurance, and may be subject to a DMV record search.
