Pennbrook Apartments in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team at an upcoming community. The ideal candidate will have experience with general maintenance, work orders, unit turns, and delivering excellent resident service.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, performing make-ready tasks, diagnosing and repairing HVAC and plumbing, maintaining pool equipment, and supporting overall property upkeep. On-call rotation may be required.

Qualifications

• HVAC EPA certification is required.
• Pool certification is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of furnaces and plumbing.
• Experience with apartment maintenance, make-ready, and work order systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Physically active role requiring standing, bending, lifting and walking.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance work orders in a timely and professional manner.
• Perform apartment make-ready tasks, including repairs and unit preparation.
• Diagnose and repair basic HVAC systems, furnaces, and air conditioning units.
• Identify and fix plumbing issues such as leaks and minor pipe repairs.
• Maintain pool equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Assist with general property upkeep, including preventative maintenance.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests as part of an on-call rotation.
• This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, proactive, and capable of handling a variety of maintenance tasks to keep the property running smoothly.
