HHHunt's Abberly Riverwalk apartments in Nashville is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician who thrives on customer focus and delivering quality service. You will diagnose and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliance systems, perform inspections, and handle work orders with a strong emphasis on safety and resident satisfaction.

You must have a high school diploma or equivalent, EPA 608 Type I & II, a valid driver's license, and a willingness to work outdoors in varied weather.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years of service technician experience or trade school certification.
• EPA 608 Type I & II required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, and related skills in multiple areas.
• Ability to use a smart device and computer with tracking systems.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions.
• Tool set to complete routine and advanced service requests.

Responsibilities

• Complete inspections, work orders, turns and tasks in four technical areas per company policies, goals, and values with high customer service.
• Solve routine and some moderately complex problems within four technical areas.
• Notify the Service Manager of parts or supplies to order when inventory is low.
• Participate in an On-Call schedule and respond to emergency calls.
• Keep current on required training classes and maintain certifications.
• Communicate and work with contractors and vendors as instructed by the Service Manager.
• Maintain time sheets as required by company policies.
• Communicate with Leasing Office and Service Manager about charges, deficiencies or concerns.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Complete inspections, work orders, turns and tasks in four technical areas per company policies, goals, and values including a high level of customer service and assists in all other technical areas.
• Solve routine and some moderately complex problems within four technical areas and assist in all other technical areas.
• Notify the Service Manager of any parts or supplies that need to be ordered to complete a work order, turn, or task when inventory is low.
• Participate in an On-Call schedule responded to emergency calls and document time and work as required by company policies.
• Keep current on all HHHunt company required training classes either in-person or virtual and maintain any required certifications.
• Communicate and work with contractors and vendors as instructed by the Service Manager.
• Maintain time sheets as required by HHHunt policies.
• Communicate promptly with the Leasing Office and Service Manager to keep them apprised of any charges, deficiencies or address any concerns related to the community or residents.
• Ensure the community and all work is clean, neat, and safe for all residents and team members per company and government standards.
• Always represent the company in a professional manner at all times and abide by company dress codes.
• Maintain and use community equipment and vehicles per company polices and manufacturer standards.

REQUIREMENTS

• High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years of experience in a service technician or related field required or trade school certification in HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, electricity, or related field and 1 years of experience in service technician or related field required
• EPA 608 Type I & II required
• Valid CPO certification preferred
• CAMT designation preferred
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
• Demonstrated knowledge in four technical areas including HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Appliances, Landscaping, Painting, Carpentry, and Swimming Pools.
• Demonstrated ability to use a smart device and a computer with organizational tracking systems.
• Demonstrated ability to provide a high level of customer service
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and deadlines
• Demonstrated ability to work outside for long period of time in various weather conditions.
• Must have and maintain a reliable set of tools that enables independent completion of routine and advanced service requests with minimal supervision.

The hiring range for Apartment Maintenance Technician is $20.56-$25.68/hr based on experience and certifications. Overtime and bonus pay are also available. This position is eligible for HHHunt’s benefits to include, health insurance, vacation, sick leave and 401K. HHHunt offers a 25% taxable rental discount if you lease an HHHunt apartment. To become a resident at any HHHunt community, all Team Members must pass standard resident screenings and background checks, (separate from employment background checks).
