Red Oak Management Co., Inc is seeking a full-time Apartment Maintenance Technician to service our Cedar Springs and Kent City, MI properties. You will handle maintenance requests, prepare units for move-ins, and support the property team to keep grounds and interiors in top condition.

The role offers a competitive hourly wage of $18-26 with PTO, health and dental coverage, vision, life options, paid holidays, and company-paid mileage.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities or residential maintenance.
• Strong working knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical repairs, welding, and plumbing.
• Fair housing training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders for residents to ensure spaces are well-maintained and comfortable.
• Work closely with the property manager to maintain an immaculate appearance at each site, proactively identifying and resolving issues before they escalate.
• Prepare units for new move-ins, creating a welcoming environment for residents.

WHAT THIS APARTMENT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN ROLE ENTAILS

As an Apartment Maintenance Technician, you complete work orders for residents to ensure their living spaces are well-maintained and comfortable. You work closely with the property manager to maintain an immaculate appearance at each site, proactively identifying and resolving issues before they escal. Additionally, you prepare units for new move-ins, creating a welcoming environment for residents who are excited to call our community home.

Schedule:

Enjoy a schedule of 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, and the flexibility to be on-call for emergencies as needed.
