Career Strategies - Virginia Beach is seeking an Experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician to support our property management division. The role involves grounds maintenance, basic HVAC work when available, and preparing vacant units for occupancy, including turnovers and work orders.

Ideal candidates will have at least 6 months of onsite residential maintenance experience, their own basic tools and a power drill, reliable transportation, and the ability to work full-time Monday through

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of onsite residential maintenance experience.
• Own set of basic hand tools and a power drill.
• Reliable transportation.
• Availability Monday–Friday for an 8-hour workday, full-time (40 hours/week).
• HVAC certification preferred (proof if applicable).
• No on-call duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform grounds maintenance and light landscaping.
• Conduct HVAC maintenance (preferred but not required).
• Prepare vacant units for occupancy, including turnovers and work orders.
• Handle plumbing, drywall repair and texturing, painting, electrical repair, carpentry, and appliance repair/installation.
