Job summary

Highmark Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to perform appliance, carpentry, painting, plumbing, A/C and electrical duties at the Overlook at Simms Creek community. You will assist the Service Manager and support the maintenance program with timely, quality work.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of apartment maintenance experience, a valid driver’s license, and HVAC Type II or Universal certification.

Qualifications

• At least one year of apartment maintenance experience.
• A/C Certification Type II or Universal.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule & on-call.

Responsibilities

• Perform appliance, carpentry, painting, plumbing, A/C and electrical duties
• Assist Service Manager with various tasks as required by the needs of the community
• Ensures service requests are completed correctly and in a timely manner
• Perform preventative maintenance repairs
• Responds to automated service on emergency calls per company policy
• Assists with resident functions
• Participates in the ongoing community preservation plan and preventive maintenance program
