Job summary

Towne Properties is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Forest Ridge Apartments in Indianapolis, IN. You will perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, appliance repair, lighting, and groundskeeping tasks, and handle apartment turnovers.

The role offers a full-time schedule, Monday–Friday 8am–5pm, with on-call rotation, and pay from $20 to $22 per hour plus incentives. A valid driver's license and basic tools are required, with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience in multi-family residential maintenance.
• Turnover Technician – skilled in apartment turns.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance repair, lighting, and grounds.
• Strong customer service with a cheerful outlook when assisting residents.
• Ability to work independently while staying efficient and thorough.
• Basic computer and smartphone skills.
• Must have basic hand tools, valid driver’s license, reliable truck/van, and auto-insurance.
• Willing to complete a drug and background check if offered the position.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, appliance repair, lighting, locks/keys, pool care, and groundskeeping tasks.
• Handle apartment turnovers, preparing homes for new residents.
• Complete work orders quickly and with high-quality results.
• Address emergencies as situations arise or while on-call.
