Apartment Maintenance Supervisor | MAA Ayrsley

Join us as an Apartment Maintenance Supervisor at MAA Ayrsley. This is an over-hire position, and you may support the entire market until a vacancy is filled in this location.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced maintenance professional ready to supervise and motivate a team to meet property-specific goals in the multifamily industry. At MAA, we value how our service teams address resident needs and maintain our communities, which directly impacts our success.

The Apartment Maintenance Supervisor reports to a Property Manager and ensures apartment homes and facilities are in good working order, maintained to standards, and meet or exceed appearance standards. Responsibilities include coordinating the maintenance team, responding promptly to service requests, maintaining market-ready apartments, and assisting with hiring, training, and developing maintenance staff, including painters and landscapers.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma/GED and 3-5 years of experience in multifamily property management, facility maintenance, or mechanical repair, or equivalent experience and education
  • HVAC experience required
  • EPA Type II or EPA Universal license required
  • For Florida locations, CAMT license required at hire or by next examination
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • 1-3 years of supervisory experience preferred
