Job summary

Group Five Management is seeking an experienced Apartment Maintenance Supervisor in Kentwood, MI. You will oversee daily maintenance, lead make-readies, and manage HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs while coordinating vendors and POs.

Approximately 25% of time is administrative; training will be provided to learn and use our property management software and mobile app for real-time documentation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of maintenance experience, multi-family preferred.
• Strong leadership, organization and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to quality work and efficient operations.
• Driver's license and reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance operations and apartment make-readies.
• Lead and perform work across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs.
• Coordinate vendors and manage electronic purchase orders.
• Maintain unit turn status through the make-ready board.
• Approximately 25% of the role involves administrative work at a computer.
• Use company software systems for procurement and unit tracking.
• Utilize a mobile app to manage work orders and inspections with notes, photos, and videos.
• Training will be provided; learn and use technology consistently.
