Apartment Maintenance Specialist Multi Sites

Locations will be Sylvania OH, Perrysburg OH, Waterville OH, Dundee MI, Temperance MI, Jackson MI. Additional sites may be added to the travel position at a later date. Assistance with on-call duties may be required. Mileage paid, plus a competitive benefits package.

Position Summary:

The Multi-Site Maintenance Specialist will oversee the physical condition of all properties within their area, including capital improvement projects, inspections, and vendor communications. The qualified candidate will be committed to providing leadership and developing teams.

Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee maintenance projects on all properties in the area in accordance with MRD standards.
  2. Establish and implement preventative maintenance procedures and monitor each site for compliance.
  3. Participate in MRD Apartments training and conduct training for the service team.
  4. Coordinate trainings and certifications through OSHA.
  5. Operate and maintain machinery including lawn mowers, snow blowers, and electric tools.
  6. Inspect all properties on a regular basis.
  7. Work with the Director of Facilities on budgeting and soliciting bids for major repairs, purchases, and contracts.
  8. Provide outstanding customer service to residents, prospective residents, vendors, and colleagues.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • 1 year of related experience or training.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Combination of education and experience is acceptable.
  • Ability to work nights and weekends and be available for on-call responsibilities.
  • Capable of lifting 50 lbs.
  • Must pass a criminal background check.
  • Willing and eager to embody MRD Apartments' Core Values daily.
