Job summary

PeakMade Real Estate is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance tasks at an assigned apartment community. You will be a resident-focused, team-oriented professional with a solid technical aptitude who takes pride in high-quality work.

Responsibilities include completing service requests, preventative maintenance, safety compliance, on-call rotations, and coordinating with the Maintenance Supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year maintenance experience, preferably in the apartment industry.
• EPA certification Type I and II preferred.
• Must live within 30 miles of the assigned property.
• Must have reliable transportation and be able to accommodate a rotating on-call schedule as required.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances and all other systems at community.
• Other licenses and certifications as required by local, state or federal law.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs to ensure community quality and safety.
• Monitor inventory of equipment, tools, parts and supplies.
• Maintain preventative maintenance schedule.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents.
• Assist with move-in/move-out processes and turn events.
• Maintain records and keep work areas clean and safe.
• On-call rotation for emergency service.
